The Johns Hopkins Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics and the Allegheny Health Network (AHN) of Pennsylvania have established a new research collaboration. This program creates formalized pathways for our experts to work together to deliver innovative and coordinated gynecologic and obstetric health care. One of the largest single-site research initiatives around women’s health in the country, this collaboration solidifies our long-standing partnership and shared commitment to women’s health.

The expert team of fetal surgeons of the Johns Hopkins Fetal Therapy Center specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of a range of fetal conditions, including congenital diaphragmatic hernia, spina bifida and complicated monochorionic twins, using the most advanced, minimally invasive fetal intervention procedures, such as fetoscopic laser surgery, fetoscopic tracheal occlusion (FETO) and fetoscopic repair for spina bifida.

The Johns Hopkins Kelly Gynecologic Oncology Service is a team of world-renowned surgeons, medical oncologists, researchers and cancer experts who utilize the most innovative treatments and surgical approaches — including robotics and radical debulking procedures, sentinel lymph node mapping, intraperitoneal chemotherapy, clinical trials and immunotherapy — to treat women diagnosed with a gynecologic cancer. Our team also specializes in helping women who are at high risk for developing breast or gynecologic cancer and in the management of complex benign conditions, such as ovarian masses and cysts.

The Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Johns Hopkins is dedicated to providing comprehensive care throughout your pregnancy. Our team is at the forefront of maternal and fetal medicine, advancing clinical care through research and discovery to benefit mothers and their babies.
Our maternal-fetal medicine specialists care for pregnancies that are both low and high risk, and conduct unique programs for managing complications in pregnancy, including multiple pregnancies, placental abnormalities, fetal anomalies, genetic disorders, nutritional issues and infectious diseases. Our goal as caregivers is to provide a woman and her family with the critical support that she needs to deliver a healthy baby.

The Advanced Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery group at Johns Hopkins is committed to providing women with progressive and personalized surgical care for gynecologic conditions. We offer a wide range of minimally invasive approaches, including vaginal, hysteroscopic, laparoscopic, robotic and single-site surgery.
Our practice focuses on the treatment of common gynecologic conditions, including fibroids, endometriosis, adenomyosis, abnormal uterine bleeding and ovarian cysts. To treat these conditions, we collaborate with our colleagues in interventional radiology, urology, urogynecology, colorectal surgery, gastroenterology and physical therapy to optimize your care and health outcomes.
