Cardiothoracic Surgery and Cardiovascular Surgery

Choosing a physician for your cardiac care is one of the most important decisions you will ever make.

Should you go to a medical center with comprehensive services or an academic, research-oriented institution that advances the understanding of cardiac disease? Or, perhaps you'd prefer to find you doctor in a smaller, community hospital, close to home who promises more comfort, caring and personal service.

How about a practice that provides all that and more?

In addition to state-of-the-art cardiac surgery and angioplasty, Johns Hopkins Cardiothoracic Surgery at Suburban Hospital provides training for the next generation of cardiac surgeons and cardiologists, and, through ground-breaking research, contributes to improvements in the treatment of cardiac disease worldwide. The Cardiothoracic Surgery program also complements a broad range of existing programs at Suburban Hospital-from emergency/trauma care to state-of-the-art cardiac diagnostics and rehabilitation. Over the years these programs, have helped many thousands of patients recover from heart disease.
