Cafeteria

Our full-service cafeteria is located on the basement level of the hospital and serves a wide variety of hot and cold entrees including made-to-order salads, brick oven pizza, soups, sandwiches, grill items, freshly rolled sushi and more.

Visitors may now order meals from the hospital cafeteria through Grubhub. Users can place an order and pick it up from the designated rack in the cafeteria. On the Grubhub app, go to Account, tap Campus Dining and search “Johns Hopkins Howard County General Hospital.” Then, view the list of on-site retail venues and place your order. You will be notified when your order is ready for pickup.

Breakfast, 7 -10 a.m.
Lunch, 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
Dinner, 3 -9 p.m.

Wireless Internet Access

Because we want to provide the best service possible to our patients and families, Howard County General Hospital provides free wireless internet access. This service is available throughout the hospital, including patient rooms, main lobby, and cafeteria.

Connecting to JHGuestnet is straightforward and a similar process for both Android and IOS operating systems. Simply find the wireless signal broadcasting JHGuestnet and click connect. If it prompts you to enter an email address, please provide a valid email address. If you are prompted with a message stating "cannot verify server identity," choose to continue. Vending

Vending machines are located in waiting areas throughout the hospital.

Gift Shop

The Right Touch Gift Shop is a full-service gift shop adjacent to the main lobby. Order flowers for a patient with just a telephone call! Visit the Gift Shop Page for more information.

Newspapers

Local newspapers are available for purchase near the Chapel, 1st floor, and the cafeteria.

Pharmacies

Feldman's Pharmacy is on the lower level of the Columbia Medical Center at 11055 Little Patuxent Parkway. This pharmacy is not operated by Howard County General Hospital or Johns Hopkins Medicine.

Public Phones

Public telephones are available in the lobby near the main entrance and near the Emergency Department entrance.
