Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery
The Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Johns Hopkins Children's Center supports children in need of reconstructive surgery for most conditions, injuries or malformations. We offer a broad range of the most advanced techniques and specialized surgical services in a compassionate and caring environment.

Using the latest innovations in plastic and reconstructive surgery, our highly experienced team treats a wide range of conditions, malformations and injuries, including:
- Brachial plexus injuries

Programs and Centers
As part of our full range of pediatric reconstructive surgery services, the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery offers the following specialty treatment programs:
- Cleft and Craniofacial Center: Our multidisciplinary team specializes in comprehensive management of cleft lip and palate and other craniofacial conditions.
- Orthodontic Clinic: Our experts use a variety of orthodontic appliances to reposition teeth in preparation for reconstructive craniofacial surgery.
- Pediatric Cranial Reconstruction Center: Using the latest technology, our team repairs visible skull defects resulting from trauma, craniofacial anomalies or previous brain surgery.
Center for Orthognathic Surgery: Our experts offer comprehensive, multidisciplinary care for patients with dentofacial differences.
