The Sarcoma Program at the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center provides comprehensive care for children and adults with bone and soft tissue sarcomas. We bring together expertise of multiple specialties, including radiation, medical and surgical oncologists, neurosurgeons, orthopaedic oncologists, pathologists radiologists and other clinicians to address all aspects of sarcoma treatment. The team meets weekly to review cases, study radiology findings and come up with a detailed, coordinated treatment plan tailored for each person.

Who Can Benefit From the Sarcoma Program

• Newly diagnosed sarcoma patients who have not yet received treatment.
• Patients who have received a treatment plan, but are seeking a multidisciplinary second opinion.
• Patients who have had surgery for a sarcoma and may need additional treatment with radiation or chemotherapy.
• Patients who have metastatic sarcoma are not ideal candidates for the Sarcoma Multidisciplinary Clinic as they generally need to be seen by a medical oncologist to discuss chemotherapy or other systemic therapy options.
