A wide range of specialists are involved in your care when you're a patient at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. In addition to the doctors, technicians and support personnel, nurses and hospitalists are responsible for much of the care provided in our facility. Team members are in constant communication with each other about medical conditions and needs, as daily team meetings and a secure online database help us deliver uninterrupted high-quality care.

We also highly value communication with primary care providers. We try to include your primary care provider or another physician from their practice whenever possible, and always send them a detailed discharge summary at the end of your hospitalization.
