Pediatric Cystic Fibrosis

The Johns Hopkins Cystic Fibrosis Center is part of the Eudowood Division of Pediatric Respiratory Sciences at Johns Hopkins Children’s Center. Our center is accredited by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and our team provides multidisciplinary care to more than 250 children and 350 adults with cystic fibrosis (CF). Additionally, our researchers are at the forefront of developing the next generation of CF therapeutics and training CF care providers.

Continuing our rich tradition of research at Johns Hopkins, our leading researchers direct laboratory-based investigations to better understand the disease process and conduct clinical trials to test new therapeutics.

Recipients of Clinical Award for Physicians and Care Teams

Cystic Fibrosis care team

Cystic Fibrosis Center Director Peter Mogayzel and a multidisciplinary team received the inaugural Johns Hopkins Medicine Clinical Award for Physicians and Care Teams. They were honored for exemplary care and research to develop new therapies. The team’s far-reaching quality improvement initiatives have also been recognized by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the American Board of Pediatrics, leading to significant improvement in clinical outcomes.
