Our department provides clinical education to graduate speech-language pathology students enrolled at colleges and universities that have established contractual agreements with our speech-language pathology program at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. These arrangements are made by the academic fieldwork coordinator of clinical education at each student’s college, not by The Johns Hopkins Hospital. We offer clinical education at a variety of settings within The Johns Hopkins Health System. Students can expect to be challenged and supported through intensive supervision and mentorship and gain valuable experience for their future professional career. Colleges and universities that have established contractual agreements with our speech-language pathology program are able to identify interested students to interview for clinical education at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. Please contact the student program coordinator with inquiries.
Please note that neither The Johns Hopkins University nor The Johns Hopkins Hospital have a speech-language pathology school. If you are interested in obtaining information about speech-language pathology education programs, please visit the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
